AppHüs, LLC ("AppHüs", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Individual apps may have supplemental privacy notices covering features unique to that app.

01Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide. When you contact us, create an account, or submit a form, we may collect your name, email address, and any content you include in your message.
• Information from your device. When you use our apps or visit our website, we may automatically collect device and usage information such as device type, operating system version, app version, language preferences, crash logs, and anonymized usage events.
• Information some apps collect with your permission. Depending on the app and the features you use, we may collect additional information you choose to provide or allow, such as a phone number or your device's location. We collect these only with your permission, and you can change or withdraw that permission in your device settings. See any app-specific supplemental notice below for details.
• Purchase information. When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We receive confirmation of the purchase but do not receive your payment card details.
• Information from third parties. If you interact with our apps through third-party services (for example, signing in with Apple), we may receive information those services share with us in accordance with their policies.

02How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our Services
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you
• Understand how users engage with our apps so we can improve them
• Diagnose technical issues, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations

03How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted third parties to help us operate our Services (for example, analytics, email delivery, and hosting). They may access your information only to perform work on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AppHüs, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If AppHüs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
• With your consent. We may share information in other circumstances with your permission.

04Third-Party Services

Our Services rely on a small number of third-party providers. Current providers include Apple (App Store distribution and in-app purchases), Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Hosting, App Check, Crashlytics, and Analytics), and FormSubmit.co (contact form delivery). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We review our providers periodically and update this list as it changes.

05Analytics and Cookies

Our website uses a minimal set of first-party storage and analytics to understand general traffic patterns. Our apps may use Apple's analytics frameworks and/or Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. You can opt out of app analytics in your device settings, and you can clear your browser's cookies at any time.

06Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Support messages are typically retained for up to two years. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained longer.

07Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

09Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a portable copy of your information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise your California rights, contact us using the details in Section 15.

11International Users

AppHüs is based in Texas, United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information will be processed and stored in the United States and potentially other countries where our service providers operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or equivalent laws. To exercise those rights or ask questions, contact us using the details in Section 15.

12Do Not Track

Our website does not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret them. We do not engage in cross-site tracking behaviors that these signals are intended to control.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by in-app notification or email. Your continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

14Supplemental Notice: LinkUp

This supplemental notice covers features unique to LinkUp, our app for making casual plans with friends. It adds to, and should be read together with, the general Policy above. Where this notice and the general Policy differ for LinkUp, this notice controls.

Account and profile. You create a LinkUp account with an email address and password or with Sign in with Apple. You provide a first name, last name, a unique username, home city, gender, and whether you are part of a couple. You can optionally add a phone number, a profile photo, Instagram, X, and TikTok handles, and a linked partner account. Your name, username, home city, photo, gender, and couple status are visible to other signed-in LinkUp members so friends can find and recognize you. Your email and phone number are used for signing in and account recovery and are not shown to other members.

Plans, feelers, and friends. LinkUp lets you create plans and feelers (with a name, description, category, date or day, location, and capacity), commit to friends' plans, and manage friend requests, friend lists ("circles"), and priority friends. This content is shared with the members you target it to. If you back out of a plan you committed to, LinkUp records that on your account and shows your friends a playful, time-decaying "Flake Meter" tier.

Location. With your permission, LinkUp uses your device's location while the app is open to show plans and feelers near you. Locations that an organizer chooses for a plan are geocoded and stored with that plan. Your own location is not stored on our servers.

Finding friends from your contacts. If you choose to find friends from your contacts, LinkUp reads phone numbers from the contacts you allow, whether that is all of your contacts or a selection you pick. Names and contact details never leave your device. Each phone number is converted on your device into a one-way SHA-256 hash, and only those hashes are sent to our servers to check for matches against members who have chosen to be discoverable. The hashes we receive are not stored; the check happens in the moment and the request is then discarded. You can turn off "Let contacts find me by phone number" in the app's Contacts and Discovery settings at any time, which removes your number from the match index immediately. Invitations to contacts are sent from your own phone through Messages; we do not send them.

Share links. As an organizer, you can share a link to a plan or feeler. Anyone who opens the link, whether or not they are signed in, can see the plan's name, whether it is a plan or a feeler, and its date or day on a preview page. The location, description, and attendees are only shown inside the app to members the plan is visible to.

Notifications. With your permission, LinkUp sends push notifications, such as new plans from friends, changes and cancellations to plans you are in, reminders, and friend requests. We store your device's push token so we can deliver them. You can turn off every notification type in the app's notification settings.

Safety. You can block and report other users. We retain reports for moderation.

Service providers. LinkUp runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Hosting, App Check, Crashlytics, and Analytics) and Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple, and push delivery). Analytics and crash data are anonymized. LinkUp does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account from inside the app, under Account > Account Data and Privacy. Deletion removes your profile, plans, RSVPs, friendships, blocks, push tokens, and your phone match index entry. Reports filed by or about your account are retained for moderation.

Children. LinkUp is not directed to children under 13.
